Fergus Falls, Fargo North and Jamestown all attended the event.

Even though no score was kept, Packers co-coaches Troy Miller and Tim Capouch got a good look at their team.

"We're a deep team this year," Miller said. "We expect it to be a good time."

Josh Hanson, goalie and junior varsity player of the year last season, is backing starter Cameron Holland this season. Having quality talent in the net will help West Fargo greatly, Miller said.

As far as the rest of the team, Miller is optimistic.

"We have a lot of inexperienced but talented players," he said. "We expect them to play their best."

The Packers and Fargo North head west this weekend to open the regular season. The teams will flip-flop opponents on Friday and Saturday.

West Fargo plays Bismarck at 7:15 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 27, and faces off against Bismarck at 5:15 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 28.
