WF City Commission approves rezoning requests
West Fargo City Commissioners faced a relatively light agenda Monday night that included approving first reading of rezoning of Eagle Run 18th Addition from planned unit development to R-3 multiple dwellings and a land use plan amendment from office park to high density residential.
The purpose for the replat of the property owned by Lowell Regstad, located west of Cass County Highway 17 and south of 34th Avenue, is to meet the city's subdivision ordinance and provide clear legal description for the property.
The commission also approved:
-the authorization of a background check by the West Fargo Police Department for a liquor license application for a new proposed liquor establishment, Bar Nine, at 1405 Prairie Parkway, Suite 301, requested by Clifford Tornell of Fargo;
-second reading for rezoning of Eaglewood 2nd Addition from agricultural to proposed R-1Sm mixed and one two family dwelling district along with final plat approval;
-second reading for rezoning of Hayden Heights 2nd Addition from R-1A single family dwelling to planned unit development, along with the detailed development plan and final plat approval.
The next regularly scheduled meeting of the West Fargo City Commission will take place Monday, Aug. 30, at 5:30 p.m. in the Commission Chambers at West Fargo City Hall. All meetings are open to the public.
