The team originated in 2009 as an independent studio team without affiliation to any other dance croup. It was comprised of a senior team of dancers 18 and under that competed as an all-star team nationally.
The team placed third at UDA Nationals in Orlando, Fla. and made it into the Grand Champion round at UPA Americup in Minneapolis, Minn.
The following year, the junior team was created which competed both locally and regionally. It was made up of dancers 14 and under from North and West Fargo. This team was coached by Jordan Jost and Claire Moltzan for three years and was the only team for West Fargo Elite. In 2012, Allison Heinen took over the organization and added a youth team and now coaches with Madison Schommer.
Group practices are held two to three times a week, meeting for approximately an hour and a half each time, at local elementary schools.
