WF Police respond to fight with baseball bats

West Fargo Police responded to a fight in progress in the area of 16th St. and 14 ½ Ave. W. on Sunday, August 23. Officers located a group of people who said that two males with baseball bats and one female showed up and attempted to assault members of their group. The suspects had already left the area, and about an hour later, reported to Fargo Police that they had been assaulted in Fargo.

Two people from the group at 16th Street were treated for minor injuries and released from the hospital. The incident is still under investigation, but police have determined that both groups new each other and that the dispute was over money.
