WF Soccer Club elects board
The West Fargo Soccer Club has elected three new board members, and re-elected three members for 2012. Elections were held during the organization's annual meeting Jan. 8.
David Fenelon was named the president-elect. He will serve on year in the capacity, one year as WFSC board president, and one year as past-president.
Lynne Olien was elected as treasurer-elect. She will serve for one year in that role, and one year as the WFSC treasurer.
Tine Lemi was elected to a one-year at-large position.
Re-elected board members include Brenda Lovgren, Kelvin Daniels and Martin Fredricks. Lovgren was re-elected to another one-year term as the organization's secretary, while Daniels and Fredricks were re-elected to additional one-year at-large terms.
The nine-member panel is rounded out by Kim Hurley, president; Chris Pederson, past president; and Kristi Leiseth, treasurer.
Fenelon is an IT project manager-dealer management systems at Doosan Information and Communications America, West Fargo. He and his wife, Amy, have two children and reside in Horace.
Lemi is a customer care manager at First International Bank & Trust, Fargo. She and her husband, Khamis, live in West Fargo with their two children.
Olien and her husband, Curtis, live in West Fargo with their three children. She is a special education paraprofessional at Aurora Elementary in West Fargo.
Lovgren and her husband, Brian, have two children, and the family resides in West Fargo. She is a payroll specialist at RDO Equipment Co., Fargo.
Daniels is a solutions consultant at A&B Business Inc., Fargo. Daniels, his wife, Teri and their daughter live in West Fargo.
Fredricks and his wife, Cassi, reside in West Fargo with their three children. He owns Fredricks Communications, West Fargo.
The WFSC is a community-based, nonprofit youth organization that welcomes kids ages 3-19 from West Fargo, Fargo, Moorhead, Minn. and surrounding communities. In WFSC, players learn values that will serve them for their entire lives while becoming proficient in the fundamentals and advanced skills of the world's game.
