WF wrestlers take 4 of 6 at the Clash
This past weekend, the Packer wrestling team made its second trip to Rochester in two weeks, this time for the 12th Minnesota Clash tournament. They made the most of it by beating four of the six teams they faced.
Their biggest win of the weekend came against Grand Island, Neb., who they beat 53-21. They also beat Bay Port, Wis., 42-24, but every other dual was decided by 15 points or fewer.
Mediapolis, Iowa, managed to beat West Fargo in the first dual of the weekend by a score of 38-24, and Scott West, Minn., managed to beat the Packers by just one point.
The other two West Fargo victories came against Adrian, Minn. (39-24), and Kasson Mantorville, Minn. (37-28).
The Packers have two duals this week, as the head to Grand Forks Central tomorrow, then host Fargo South on Friday.
