WFHS changes parent meeting requirements

Beginning with the 2012-13 school year, West Fargo High School will be requiring parents to attend only one of the large group parent meetings. In the past, they have held meetings five to six times per year. 

If you have a student who participates in more than one sport, you will only need to attend one of these meetings next year. The large group parent meetings are set for 7 p.m. in the high school theater on Aug 1, Oct. 30, and March 19. 

Each Varsity coach will still have a separate parent meeting for their specific sport. As these meetings are scheduled, they will be posted on the website. Coaches may choose to have their meeting immediately following the large group meeting, or may schedule it after tryouts. 

Also, a reminder that prior to participating in any sport during the 2012-13 school year, a student must have a physical on file dated after April 15, 2012. This form is available on the school districts website: www.west-fargo.k12.nd.us.  It can be found under the District link for Activities.
