WFHS homecoming court introduced

The West Fargo High School Homecoming Court was introduced in a special coronation ceremony Monday evening, Sept. 13, at the high school. Katelyn Holland, daughter of Jon and Tammy Holland, was elected queen, and Tyler Kennedy, son of Ken and Laurie Kennedy, was elected king.

Other members of the homecoming court are: Carissa Becher, daughter of Scott and Jill Becher and Chase Farkas, son of Jay and Coralie Farkas; Kelsey Daul, daughter of Jerry and Sue Daul, and Cameron Holland, son of Keith and Sam Holland; Kacie Johnson, daughter of Pat and Cindy Johnson and Thomas Kuehn, son of Mary Kuehn and William Kuehn; Hillary Hugelen, daughter of Tim and Barb Hugelen and Braden Schmid, son of Stacey Schmid-Nelson and Joel Schmid; and Paige Swanson, daughter of Steve and Jill Swanson and Brady Schwartz, son of Jan Schwartz and Wayne Schwartz.

The court will preside over West Fargo High School homecoming week activities that began Monday including:

Today, Sept. 15: Pep Rally in gym, 2:44 p.m.; Powder Puff Football game, 4 p.m. (WFHS Packer Field).

Thursday, Sept. 16: Ninth volleyball Green with Fargo South Brown at Sheyenne Ninth Grade Center, 5 p.m.; Ninth volleyball White with Fargo South Gold at Sheyenne Ninth Grade Center, 6 p.m.; Volleyball home with Grand Forks Central 4:30, 5:45, 7 p.m.; Boys tennis at Fargo North, 4 p.m.; Girls swim home with Fargo South, 5:30 p.m.; Ninth football home with Lisbon, 6 p.m.; Sophomore football at Moorhead, 5 p.m.; Cross Country at Shanley Metro Showcase, Lindenwood Park, 4 p.m.

Friday, Sept. 17: Football home vs. Williston, 7 p.m.; Boys Soccer hosting WF Invitational at Scheels Complex, 3:30 p.m. (runs through Saturday); JV II soccer home with Fargo South, 5 p.m.

Saturday, Sept. 18: No activities scheduled.
