WFPD Sergeant Dura receives National Guard promotion

The North Dakota Air National Guard recently promoted Jason Dura to the rank of Chief Master Sergeant, the highest enlisted rank than can be obtained in the Air Force.

Dura earned his current rank by competing with other senior enlisted members in the North Dakota Air National Guard under the program Early Exceptional Promotion. Dura has served twenty-seven years in the Air National Guard; he has held the position of Fuels Supervisor and most recently as the 119th Wing Human Resource Advisor.

Dura has a wife, Michelle, and two sons, Joshua and Jack. He has been employed with the West Fargo Police Department since 1996, presently serving as the Night Shift Patrol Sergeant.
