WFPS retirees provided 278 years of experience.
The West Fargo School District's 12 retirees are taking with them 278 years of service in the school system.
Of those 12, eight of them were in the district for over 20 years, and four of those over 30.
South Elementary second grade teacher Sandra Johnson has had the longest tenure among the retirees. She was hired on Sept. 1, 1975, giving her 38 years of experience in the district.

Margaret Buck, Eastwood Elementary, Grade 1, 24 years with West Fargo Public Schools.
Jane Carriveau, South Elementary, Grade 1 33 years.
Louise Dardis, Assistant Superintendent, 34 years.
Corene Geffre, Community High, Social Studies, 27 years.
Mary Haugo, Eastwood Elementary, Grade 5, 28 years.
Rebecca Johnson, Cheney Middle School, Counselor, 26 years.
