Wildlife carcasses found on dirt road near West Fargo

A woman discovered the carcasses of two deer, three coyotes and more than a dozen geese on a dirt road near her property Wednesday near West Fargo, Cass County Sheriff's Capt. Rick Majerus said.

The dead animals were re-ported at 5:06 p.m. in the 3600 block of 19th Avenue North-west, about 2 miles northwest of West Fargo.

The carcasses looked "fairly fresh" and probably had been recently dumped there, Maje-rus said.

The case will be referred to local game wardens, he said.
