The Red River Valley Fair is expanding their palate in 2012 by introducing a Wine Garden to this annual event.

"The Wine Garden concept has been something we have wanted to do for some time.  It is a niche we have been lacking at the Fair," stated general manager, Bryan Schulz.  "The Wine Garden will be a place for people to enjoy tasting various wines, buy a glass of wine, sit, relax and enjoy some easy listening music."

The Wine Garden will be open daily during the Fair from 2 and 9 p.m., located near the Information Building, featuring both and indoor and outdoor seating area. The plan is to have local jazz or blues musicians perform in the outdoor area.

"We are really excited to bring a new area to the Fair," remarked Schulz.  "We expect the Wine Garden to be a busy place. It's a great location to meet your friends before going to the Grandstand."
