Women’s Night Out to be held at Faith Lutheran, April 12
Women’s Night Out will be held at Faith Lutheran Church, West Fargo, on Friday, April 12 with a social at 6 p.m. followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m.
The meal, prepared and served by the Men of Faith, will feature a Beef Medallion with onion port marmalade, sauteed carrots and zucchini and chocolate and berry creme brulee.
Guest speakers Kim Schnitzer and Vicki Marthaler will follow dinner focusing on their theme “Sing and Tell the Story.”
During their presentation Kim sings and Vicki tells the story of Jesus and His love in an inspirational and sometimes humorous manner.
The pair joined in their ministry of word and song in 1995 and enjoy reaching out to many denominations and civic groups.
Kim is a recording artist and maintains a position as office manager at a Detroit Lakes, Minn. funeral home. She and her husband, Tim, have three grown children, and several grandchildren.
Vicki, an Associate in Ministry with the ELCA, is an inspirational speaker and teacher, and serves as chaplain to the residents at a Detroit Lakes, Minn. nursing home. She and her husband, Mark, have two grown sons, and a grandchild on the way.
Together, Kim and Vicki have released two studio recordings “In Every Season: and “Comfort and Hope.”
Tickets to Women’s Night Out are available in the church office at 127 2nd Ave. E. Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Those attending are welcome to invite a guest. Ticket cost is $15 per person.
