Wrestling wins Sertoma Tournament

For the second year in a row, the West Fargo PackersWrestling team topped Perham in the championship round of the annual Sertoma tournament to take the title on Saturday.

The Packers faced Bismarck-St. Mary's in the first round, beating them 72-3. They then beat Turtle Mountain 57-16 in the quarterfinals.

In the semifinals, the team beat Bismarck Century 46-24, then beat Perham 52-18 in the finals to defend their title.

The Packers also won the Sertoma in 2009, but finished second in 2010.

The team will travel to Rochester, Minn., on Friday for a weekend tournament.
