Youth hockey registration set
West Fargo Youth Hockey registration is now open for the 2009-2010 season. Boys and girls 4 years of age and older as of July 1, are eligible to sign up to practice and play games. The season starts October 19, and finishes the first week of March. This year there is an added 8U level all girls team, which will provide a girls only format for the youngest players to begin the player development into 10U, 12U, 14U and ultimately the West Fargo High School Girls varsity team.
Players and parents can find more information at www.westfargohockey.com or by attending the registration and information night, which will be held tonight (Thursday, September 10) from 5 to 8 p.m., at the Veterans Memorial Arena next to the West Fargo High School.
Free loaner equipment is available to new players this year through a grant from North Dakota Amateur Hockey (NDAHA) and proceeds of the West Fargo Hockey charity golf tournament held this summer.
