NEVER FAIL DUMPLINGS

1 egg, beaten

1/2 cup milk

2/3 tsp. salt

1 cup flour

3 tsp. baking powder

2 tsp. cornstarch

Mix egg and milk. Combine all dry ingredients; add to beaten egg and milk. Drop by small spoonfuls into liquid. Cook 15 to 20 minutes. Do not lift lid.
