Wedding: Scholten - Tappert

Brenda Scholten, Jamestown, N.D., and Greg Tappert, Lewisville, Texas, were married Aug. 7, 2010, at First Assembly of God, Jamestown, followed by a reception at Jamestown College. Rev. Randy Jaspers officiated.

Parents are Ben and Beth Scholten, West Fargo, and Rev. Philip and Sally Tappert, Montpellier, France.

Attendants were Bree Hsieh, Pomona, Calif.; Stephanie Kuhn, Bismarck, N.D.; Judy Fossum Mathern, Cheyenne, Wyo.; Melissa Ollie, Eden Prairie, Minn.; Glenn Tappert, Oklahoma City, Okla.; Justin Burns, Little Elm, Texas; David OldenKamp, Sunset, S.C.; and Brian Scholten, West Fargo.

Brenda graduated in 1998 from Minnesota State University Moorhead with a bachelor’s degree in mass communications, and in 1999 graduated from Northwestern University – Medill School of Journalism, Evanston, Ill., with a master’s degree in journalism. She is a freelance writer and project manager.

Greg graduated in 2001 from the University of North Texas with a bachelors degree in information systems, and in 2009 graduated from the University of Texas at Austin – McCombs School of Business with an MBA. He is a senior consultant with Deloitte Consulting, LLP.

The couple lives in Lewisville, Texas.
