Senger recognized as student of month

Jade Senger has been named Community High School Student of the Month for December. She will be graduating at the beginning of February and says she is glad she decided to come back to school after dropping out a few years ago.

Lutheran Social Services seeks healthy, active Senior Companions volunteers

Seniors age 55-plus who are healthy, active and interested in helping their aging neighbors, are needed as volunteer Senior Companions, a program of Lutheran Social Services of North Dakota.

News from the Nest: Never too early to learn about money

A few weeks ago my son signed his first legal document, at the age of 6. Sure he had to ask my husband how to spell our last name as he opened a savings account at our credit union. But overall it was pretty legible. I even made them give me a copy to keep as his first full signature.

Spring Citizens Police Academy set

The West Fargo Police Department is accepting applications for the spring Citizens Police Academy. Classes which will begin on Feb. 23, at 7 p.m. and continue weekly through May 10.
