Esther Kellerman

Aug. 24, 1924 - Aug. 28, 2010

Esther Delores Kellerman, 86, West Fargo, died Saturday, Aug. 28, at Sheyenne Crossing Care Center, West Fargo. Esther was born to Conrad and Clara Griesbach on August 24, 1924.  She attended Bohnsack Township School in Traill County.  Esther married Donald V. Kellerman, Davenport, on Nov. 28, 1954.  They moved to the Kellerman family farm and lived there until 1983 when they moved to Davenport. In 2005 they moved to West Fargo.  Esther and Don raised three sons and one daughter.  Esther was an active member of Canaan Moravian Church.  She enjoyed growing and canning vegetables. She helped bale alfalfa with her husband and sons.  She was a Kindred Vikings fan for her children, grandchildren and their friends. After moving to Davenport, she provided daycare for over 60 children, which she truly enjoyed.

Esther is survived by her husband, Donald; sons: Bradley (Lisa) Kellerman, Davenport, N.D.; Jeffrey (Hattie) Kellerman, Sartell, Minn.; Kevin Kellerman, Parker, Colo.; and Cheryl (Jack) Holm, Bozeman, Mont. Grandchildren; Amy (Justin) Perrin, Brady Kellerman, and Hannah Kellerman. She is also survived by two sisters: Leona (Dave) Boisjolie, Fargo, and Lorna (Doug) Lawyer, Grand Junction, Colo., and three sister-in-laws: Esther Griesbach, Fargo; Eleanor Griesbach, Arthur, N.D.; Marilyn Griesbach, Edmore, N.D. 

She is preceded in death by her parents; 6 brothers- Verner, Bill, Bob, Pete, Kenny and George and one sister, Erna.

A memorial service and burial were held at Canaan Moravian Church on Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2010 with arrangements entrusted to Fredrikson Funeral Chapel, Kindred and Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo.
