Red River Valley Fair Association honors employee for 60 years of service
The Red River Valley Fair Association congratulated and thanked Roy Faught for 60 years of service at the fair.
Faught also served as the president of the association's board from 1979 to 1980. Faught played a key role in the Big Iron Farm Show, almost since its beginning, the Fair said in a news release.
Faught has also been heavily involved in the field demonstration area, with his duties ranging from mapping out the demonstration plots and actually putting the demonstration part of the show together, to driving the people movers that are used to shuttle the public back and forth from the demo area.
"The Red River Valley Fair Association greatly appreciates Roy's service to the Fair and his ever pleasant demeanor. He has a great knowledge of this association that is invaluable to us all, and the dedication and hard work he's put in for the Big Iron Farm Show contributes to our success." said General Manager Bryan Schulz.
