Fargo, ND (WDAY News) - West Fargo Mayor Rich Mattern 'mustache' you a question, will you help him raise money for cancer research?

As a part of the Real Men Wear Pink Campaign, Mattern is trying to raise $2,500 by Friday, October 28th at 1:00 p.m.

When he does, he'll say goodbye to his signature mustache of over 35 years.

Next Friday, he'll be at Men's Hair in the West Fargo Pioneer Center to shave it off, and all of the proceeds will go to help fight breast and prostate cancer.

"Research Dollars are important, it is important to have a mammogram. It is important to get your prostate checked. It is important to be proactive and so if I have an opportunity to do that, and if I can help one person, it'll be worth it," said Rich Mattern, West Fargo Mayor.

If you'd like to donate, click here, or Mayor Mattern says he'd be happy to take your money at West Fargo City Hall.
