Book sale scheduled at West Fargo Library

The West Fargo Public Library continues to offer a full slate of activities for patrons of all ages.

Upcoming events include:

Book Sale: Saturday, April 26, 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., free and open to the public.

Movie: Saturday, April 26, 2 p.m., "Robin Hood," a Disney classic about an outlaw who starts to form a gang in Sherwood Forest to fight the injustices of the Sheriff of Nottingham, free.

Digital Photo Editing, Tuesday, April 29, at 6:30 p.m. Learn some of the basics of digital photo editing during this hourlong class. Feel free to bring your camera or pictures if you have specific questions. The session will be using Google's free photo software, Picasa, which can be downloaded at No sign-up required.

Knitty Giddy Group, Tuesday, April 29, at 6:30 p.m. The Knitty Giddy group is for all levels of knitters, from starters to advanced knitters, who help each other. Meet new people and enjoy the art of knitting. Bring your own supplies (beginners size 8 or size 10 knitting needles and one skein of yarn).

Cake Decorating, Thursday, May 1, at 6:30 p.m. Marie Zetocha, the cake decorator from Sandy's Donuts, will be present to give tips on how to make those beautiful flowers and decorations for cakes and cookies. The group will be decorating sugar cookies with their original designs. All materials will be provided. Must pre-register at Library Service Desk. Class size limited. No fee.

Storytime and Crafts: Thursday, April 24, at 6:30 p.m., "Dr. Seuss Rules"; Tuesday, April 29, at 1:30 p.m., Caldecott Honors Books, "There Was an Old Lady."
