Fort Lincoln Display: Oct. 1 — Dec. 31. Visit this display of materials from the North Dakota State Historical Society on the Fort Lincoln Internment Camp located in Bismarck.
Movie of the Month— "Scrooge": 1 p.m. Thursday. Charles Dickens' beloved family classic. Free movie and popcorn. Rated G.
New Release Movie — "Home Again": 2 p.m. Saturday. Recently separated Alice Kinney moves to L.A., where she invites three young men to stay in her guesthouse. Free movie and popcorn. Rated PG-13.
Gingerbread House Challenge for Kids: 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. The library will provide frosting, decorative candies, and graham cracker walls. Space is limited, so registration is requested. To register call (701) 433-5460 or sign up at the service desk in the library.
Friday Morning Movie — "Frosty the Snowman": 10:30 a.m. Friday. Animated tales of "Frosty the Snowman" and "Frosty Returns". Free movie and popcorn. Rated GNR.
Genealogy: Noon to 4 p.m. Saturday. Bring projects or just ask questions.
Simply Stories: 10:15 a.m. Tuesday. This session is geared for lap babies and preschoolers and is just stories — no crafts. For stories and simple make-and-take crafts, visit the library at 1:30 p.m. Tuesdays. Registration is not required.
Storytime with a Craft: 1:30 p.m. Tuesday. Story times are geared for preschool through first grade age children and their caretakers. Daycares are welcome, but for groups larger than five, please call ahead at (701) 433-5460. Registration is not required.
Twisted Stitchers: 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. An evening of knitting or crochet.Bring supplies. Not for beginners, but tips will be given to knitters and crocheters needing help. No pre-registration required.
Technology Tutoring: 4-5 p.m. Wednesday. Drop in for a one on one tutoring session to get help with technology questions and build skills. Bring a device or use one of the library's iPads or computers. All ages are welcome and no registration is needed.
Winter Craft-ernoon: 2 p.m. Dec. 27. Create snowflake and snow filled craft projects. This event is free and open to all ages.
The afterschool program will be open Monday through Friday (when school is in session) from 3-5:30 p.m.
The library will be closed on Dec. 24-26 for the holiday.
