Simply choose a book from the selections shown, receive a free packet of cocoa, and take home with a Laid-Back reading comment card. Read the book, enjoy the cocoa, complete the comment card and return. Each returned comment card entitles reader to enter a drawing for a free coffee gift card. Olympics Movie Month — "Race": 1 p.m. Thursday. Jesse Owens's quest to become the greatest track and field athlete in history launches him onto the world stage of the 1936 Olympics. Award winner. Free movie and popcorn. Rated PG-13.
Coding for Kids!: 6:30 p.m. Thursday. Join us for a night full of coding for kids! We will have a variety of coding activities including: Hour of Code activities, Sphero and Ozobot Robots, and a low-tech coding game. Event is open to kids in grades 3-8. No Pre-registration required.
Lego Mania 6:30 p.m. Monday. Build your own designs and create your own worlds with Legos. We have a big supply of Legos for a fun afternoon full of creative building. Program is free and open to all ages.
Technology Class — Intro to Libby app and Library2Go: 1 p.m. Tuesday. Learn how to use Libby, the newest app from OverDrive, to access eBooks and eAudiobooks from the library! Simply Stories: 10:15 a.m. Tuesday. This session is geared for lap babies and preschoolers and is just stories — no crafts. For stories and simple make-and-take crafts, visit the library at 1:30 p.m. Tuesdays. Registration is not required.
Storytime with a Craft: 1:30 p.m. Tuesday. Story times are geared for preschool through first grade age children and their caretakers. Daycares are welcome, but for groups larger than five, please call ahead at (701) 433-5460. Registration is not required.
Technology Tutoring: 4-5 p.m. Wednesday. Drop in for a 1-on-1 tutoring session to get help with your technology questions and build your skills. Bring your own device or use one of the library's iPads or computers. All ages are welcome and no registration is needed.
Ham Radio — RRRA: 7 p.m. Wednesday. Sessions are open to adults and accompanied children interested in learning more about Ham radio.
