Kind-er Care Homes offers assisted living in new West Fargo setting

West Fargo’s newest assisted living center -- Kind-er Care Homes -- lives up to the caring its name implies -- helping individuals with daily living activities needed in their everyday lives, all the while allowing them to remain independent and safe in their homes in a complete family atmosphere environment.

To introduce the cozy, ten-unit complex and its amenities to the public the staff will be hosting a grand opening on Thursday, Jan. 31, from 1 to 4 p.m. with a ribboncutting at 1:30 p.m. The Rockin 60’s Band will perform at 2 p.m. and cake, punch and coffee will be served.The facility is located at 2235 Shiloh St, just a little bit north and east of RJ’s Conoco.

Officially opening Dec. 1, 2012, Kind-er Care offers home-cooked meals and has trained staff on duty 24 hours, seven days a week, including a medical team consisting of a CNA, CMA, LPN, and RN’s.

The end result is more one-on-one care for residents with complete personal care part of the regimen and a spa and whirlpool also available, all at no extra fee.

Programming includes daily activities and weekly outings and garages are also available for residents who still drive.

Licensed by the Department of Health and Human Services, Kind-er Care has been providing inhome care for seniors and individuals in the Fargo/ Moorhead community since January of 2010.

There are currently five units and four garages available. Terry Welle Construction built the assisted living center.
