City to conduct siren testing Wednesday
The City of West Fargo will conduct warning siren testing on Wednesday, May 22.
MidStates Communication of Fargo has been contracted to check all warning signs within the city. Testing will begin at 9 a.m. and continue throughout the day, according to a news release.
Testing may spill into Thursday.
The city said the sirens are function tested twice a year and receive a daily operational check.
If the siren in your neighborhood fais to sound during the noon hour test, the city requests that residents call the police department at (701) 433-5500.
