WEST FARGO – Police are asking for the public’s help in determining the identity of individuals who may have been involved in an assault and possible robbery that occurred at the LakeMode Liquor Store at 3330 Sheyenne Street.

According to West Fargo Police:

A store clerk called police about 7:33 p.m. Sunday to report that two females had attempted to buy alcohol but could not produce identification.

The pair left the store and a short time later a male arrived at the store angry that the girls were not served.

The male, who was wearing a blue number 34 jersey and plaid shorts, grabbed the clerk from across the counter.

When the clerk tried to call 911, the man stopped the clerk and began assaulting the store employee.

Police believe store property was also taken during the incident, resulting in a possible robbery.

The suspect left the area in a grey or silver Dodge Stratus or Avenger.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call the West Fargo Police Department at (701) 433-5500.
