One hurt when pickup collides with snowplow near Kindred
KINDRED, N.D. – A driver suffered injuries that were not life threatening after the pickup he was driving collided with a snowplow at Interstate 29 and Highway 46 near here Thursday morning, Jan. 4.
The crash happened about 9 a.m. when the snowplow was clearing snow from the off and on ramps of the interstate, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
The pickup, which was westbound on Highway 46, struck the passenger side of the front plow of the snowplow, the patrol said.
The driver of the pickup, a 64-year-old man from Hickson, N.D., was taken to Sanford Medical Center. The snowplow driver, a 45-year-old man from Fargo, was not hurt, the patrol said.
The drivers’ names were not released.
