Fargo woman hospitalized after crash near Bismarck
BISMARCK — A 66-year-old Fargo woman was injured in a rollover crash 12 miles outside of Bismarck at 7:45 p.m. Friday, May 11, the North Dakota Highway Patrol said in a new release.
The woman, identified as Patricia Westerholm, was driving a 2004 Buick and traveling west on Interstate 94 in the left lane. Westerholm drifted into the median fog line and overcorrected when she steered back to the right, losing control of the vehicle, the patrol said.
The car went into the ditch, overturned and came to a rest on its roof.
Westerholm was wearing a seat belt, the patrol said. She was taken to Sanford Hospital in Bismarck to be treated for her injuries, the extent of which was unknown.
The crash remains under investigation.
