Fargo man involved in rollover charged with DUI
AMENIA, N.D. — A 37-year-old Fargo man is facing DUI charges after he was involved in a single-vehicle rollover Saturday, Aug. 25, according to a report released by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
About 8 p.m. on Saturday, Steven Lauinger was traveling south on Highway 18 north of Amenia, N.D., on a motorcycle when he lost control and was thrown from the vehicle, the report said.
Lauinger wasn't wearing a helmet and was taken to Sanford Medical Center with life-threatening injuries, the report said.
As Monday afternoon, Aug. 27, Lauinger was still in the hospital, according to the Highway Patrol.
The crash remains under investigation.
Amenia is a city about 32 miles west of Fargo.
