Ada attorney reprimanded by Minnesota high court
FARGO – Julie Lynn Bruggeman, an Ada, Minn., attorney, has been publicly reprimanded by the Minnesota Supreme Court for her actions in a North Dakota case, the court announced Jan. 31.
The North Dakota Supreme Court had faulted her for “lack of diligence, failure to communicate with a client, and failure to properly withdraw from representation,” the Minnesota court said. She earlier received a public reprimand for the same reason in North Dakota.
Bruggeman was admitted to the bar in North Dakota in 2012.
The Minnesota court said she “unconditionally admits the allegations” and agrees a public reprimand is the proper punishment. She’ll also pay $900 for court costs.
