3 men accused of having sex with underage girls in Fargo
FARGO — Three men are accused of having sex with two girls, ages 12 and 15, in a Fargo hotel in late February, according to Cass County District Court documents.
Augustine Addy, 23, of West Fargo, and Hutchingson Davies, 21, and Daniel Gowah, 20, both of Fargo, were each charged Thursday, April 19, with one felony count of gross sexual imposition and one misdemeanor count of sexual assault. Gowah was also charged with a misdemeanor count of marijuana possession.
According to court documents:
Fargo police were called to the Sanford Health emergency room on Feb. 28 for a sexual assault report. The mother of the 12-year-old girl had learned of the assault from a family friend.
The 12-year-old told a Red River Children's Advocacy Center worker that on Feb. 25, she and her friend were raped by three men in a hotel room. The 12-year-old said they also drank alcohol and smoked marijuana at the hotel.
The 15-year-old told investigators she had sex with all three men, but that only Davies and Gowah had sex with the 12-year-old.
The office of Charles Sheeley, the attorney listed for Addy in court records, said another attorney would be handling the case. The attorney listed for Davies, Marquis Bradshaw, said the same. Gowah's attorney, Leo O'Day, declined to comment on the case.
