$30,000 worth of fireworks stolen from Fargo-area business
FARGO — Someone recently made off with more than $30,000 worth of fireworks from a Memory Fireworks trailer south of Fargo, Cass County Sheriff's Sgt. Tim Briggeman said.
Briggeman said the thief or thieves stole the fireworks after forcing entry into the trailer, which was stationed at the brand's south Fargo location, which is along Interstate 29 north of St. Benedict.
The theft was reported around 8 a.m. Saturday, June 23, by someone associated with Memory Fireworks. The incident is believed to have happened during the overnight hours between late Friday evening, June 22, into early Saturday morning while the store was closed.
Briggeman said Tuesday, June 26, that no arrests have been made. He would not disclose whether the department has identified any suspects or what kind of vehicle was used.
