NDSCS to train construction workers with rapid course
FARGO — The North Dakota State College of Science has partnered with the Minnesota/North Dakota Chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors to offer training aimed at filling the region's need for more construction workers.
Construction Core, described as rapid response training, is a pre-apprenticeship program that will be offered quarterly beginning in March. The first session will be at the Fargo campus of NDSCS with the class limited to eight students.
Trainees will receive 72 hours of instruction over 12 weeks, with a mix of classroom and at-home study.
