TSA announces change to airport security procedures
FARGO – The Transportation Security Administration announced on Thursday, Nov. 30, new screening procedures when it comes to bringing electronics on a commercial flight.
All electronics larger than a cellphone must be taken out of carry-on bags and put into separate bins for X-ray screening.
This rule has applied to laptops for years, but is now being expanded to items like bluetooth speakers, iPads, Kindles and cameras.
The new rule is being implemented at all airports in North Dakota and across the country.
