WEST FARGO — Residents with limited physical abilities can ask the city of West Fargo to remove snow at the ends of their driveways.

"We understand some members of our community are not always able to manage snow removal after periods of significant accumulation like today," Mayor Rich Mattern said in a news release Monday, March 5. "Therefore, I have asked our public works department to provide assistance to ensure residents are taken care of."

Senior citizens and residents with disabilities or chronic medical conditions qualify for the service. To request aid, call the public works department at (701) 433-5400.

This will not be an ongoing service. Help will be provided after the snowfall stops and will be limited to clearing the ends of driveways.
