Man dead from apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound after domestic dispute
WEST FARGO - A man is dead following a domestic dispute that occurred Saturday night, June 10 in West Fargo.
Police responded to a call at 1804 10th St. W. at 7:52 p.m. and arrived to find Darla Balster, 45, on the sidewalk with head injuries. Balster told police that her fiance, 47-year-old Grant Poyner, was still in the home.
The man did not respond to police, so Balster let them into the home. They found Poyner inside with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. Balster was taken to the hospital for treatment.
West Fargo Police are continuing to investigate.
