Letter: Sen. McCain served the public interest, not the private interest
I was a voter in Arizona when John McCain ran for the U.S. Senate. He was remarkably
"green," so I supported him. Soon he would provide me with other good reasons for doing so.
He exemplified service of the public interest in a time when too many politicians serve private
interest at the expense of the public.
Now there is a lot of media buzz about integrity and respect and selfless dedication. Certain voters must not like this. It will make the midterm elections even trickier for them.
