Scheels to host Fish Fest
Scheels is hosting their annual Fish Fest from Thursday-Saturday, at their 1551 45th Street South location in Fargo.
The event will run from noon-8 p.m. Thursday, 9 a.m.-8 p.m. Friday, and 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday.
The event is free and open to the public. Visitors can explore what's new and puck up tips from Scheels fishing experts. Learn about the latest in fishing gear, and take advantage of specials on rods, reels, tackle and more.
There will be a knot tying contest hosted by Berkley Trilene, as well as a fishing competition via the Nintendo Wii video game system.
Visitors also can tour the Berkley Experience Trailer and see what the company is doing to help people catch more fish.

Thursday, May 6: Berkley Truck Experience. Boats from area dealers on display.
Friday, May 7: Berkley Truck Experience. Boats on display. Meet Scheels Junior Fishing Pro, Aaron Teal.
Saturday, May 8: Berkely Truck Experience. Boats on display. From 10 a.m.-2 p.m., the NDSU Anglers will conduct minnow races for the little ones. Kids will receive Scheels Ferris Wheel tokens and tattoos. At 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m., Teal will present "Bass Basics for Kids." Attendees will receive Teal trading cards and fishing tackle, while supplies last. At 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m., Valley Water Rescue's Peter Fendt will present "Scheels Youth Water Safety Seminar." The first 100 kids attending will receive a Fish Fest T-shirt and a Plano tackle box.
