Soccer ties for first in West Fargo Invitational

In the West Fargo Soccer Invitational on Saturday, the Packers finished on top, winning both of their matches to tie for first with Fargo Shanley.

The first match was a close one, as Zuheer Al Abase scored the only goal of the match to give the Packers a 1-0 victory over Bismarck-St.Mary's.

Their second match was anything but close. Senior forward Lucas Miller had a hat trick in the first half, and forward Daniel Brown scored two goals of his own in the second half as the Packers cruised to a 10-0 win over Fergus Falls.

The Packers are currently 5-1-1 in the Eastern Dakota Conference and 8-2-2 overall, good enough for third place in the conference.
