Panthers follow win over W-DC with loss to LOW

The Park Rapids-Menahga-Walker-Hackensack-Akeley boys hockey team picked up its first Mid-State Conference win of the season, but couldn't pick up its first Section 8A victory after splitting games last week.

On Saturday, the Panthers gave up four second-period goals in a 5-1 section loss to Lake of the Woods at Walker.

The split left the Panthers with a 1-1 record in the conference, an 0-2 record against section teams and a 2-3 overall record.
