Girls hockey wins two

The Packer girls hockey team moved to 9-3-0 on the season after beating Grand Forks 8-0 on Thursday and Devils Lake 13-0 on Friday.

Friday’s game saw the Packers outshoot the Firebirds by a staggering 75 shots.

In the two games, freshman forward Janey Sandoval combined for two goals and six assists. She is currently second in the state with 27 points.

The Packers host Mandan on Friday night at 7:30 p.m., then face Fargo South-Davies on Saturday at Scheels Arena. The puck drops at 10 a.m.
