Five Pallas cat kittens were born April 20, 2017, at the Red River Zoo, zoo Executive Director Sally Jacobson announced on Thursday, May 11. The species is near threatened. A yet unnamed female Bactrian camel is seen Thursday, April 6, 2017, with her mother at Red River Zoo in Fargo. She was born March 23 and will likely move to Minot in the fall where she will be named. Bactrian camels in the wild are critically endangered.
