A basic winter survival kit should include a shovel, windshield scraper, jumper cables, a rope, winter hat, gloves and socks, a blanket or sleeping bag, matches, a flashlight, water, a candy bars orenergy bars, toilet paper, a whistle, something to read or an activity book with a writing utensil and a phone charger.
