The West Fargo School Board approved a request from the Sheyenne Mustangs Booster Club on Monday night to install an electronic messaging sign at the corner of 40th Ave. and Veteran's Boulevard, where it would be most visible for the greatest number of people. "We have to check with the Guinness Book of Records, but he's probably the oldest wrecker driver in the world," Lester's son Duane said. "You don't meet too many people now that were born in a sod house."

The 11th annual Brian Mattson Invitational Golf Scramble Fundraiser will be taking place on Friday at the Leonard Country Club in Leonard, N.D. "(This event) all began as friends getting together to play a little golf together," said Brian Mattson, the event's organizer. "The next year, more friends showed up, and it eventually grew to the point where we decided we might as well raise money for West Fargo. This is something for our community to enjoy."
Two weeks ago, Amanda Levin cemented herself in Packers history. The junior trackster finished first in three different events - the 100-, 200- and 400-meter runs - at the North Dakota state track tournament.
