Crafters Square

Crafters Square inside Westgo Square at 405 West Main Ave 5C in West Fargo will be open by Nov. 24.

"I really wanted somewhere for people to be able to go grab a gift or shop local crafters and vendors," Owner Amanda Swanson said in a release. " There is nowhere in the old part of

West Fargo for people to go do that. I am a crafter and attend craft shows within the

Fargo/Moorhead area. I wanted to give the community something like the craft shows but a

permanent store."

The store will have many locally made products such as wood works, crochet, art, sports items, jewelry, lotions, soap, candles, floral arrangements and wreaths.

The store will be open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday.

The City Commission approved the liquor license of what will be a new grill and bar near Costco at its meeting on Monday, Nov. 20.

Barcode Bar and Grill is currently under construction at 825 23rd Avenue S. Suite 203 and will be a full service restaurant and bar.

Owner David Ross said he hopes to be open by mid-January.

In northern West Fargo, a new store for craft and locally made items will open by Black Friday.
