Enclave Companies is getting ready to move west.
Or, at least, to the western edge of the metro area.
The Fargo-based development, construction and property management firm announced this week that it will start construction this year on a new home office at 310 24th Ave. E. in West Fargo, by Costco.
“We’ve experienced strategic growth and our new office space will help meet the needs of our growing team,” Ben Meland, co-founder of Enclave Companies said in a news release.
“Our new home office signifies our commitment to the community and we are proud to call West Fargo home upon completion in late 2020,” Meland said.
Last fall, the West Fargo City Commission unanimously approved a five-year tax incentive program for the 60,000-square-foot facility, which will waive about $696,800 in taxes.
Enclave told West Fargo officials that it plans to develop their $360,000 piece of land into a $9.6 million property, the West Fargo Pioneer reported.

The building will feature floor-to-ceiling windows and underground parking. Additional office space is available for lease, ranging from 3,000 to 25,000 square feet, Enclave said.
“The open layout, collaborative work areas and advanced technology help foster a team-driven atmosphere,” added Enclave co-founder Austin Morris.
Enclave has offered development, construction and property management services since 2011. The firm specializes in multi-family housing and commercial and industrial spaces.
Among Enclave’s projects in Fargo are 300 Lime, the Fargo Center for Dermatology, MEDPark Medical Center, Cowboy Jacks, Gunderson’s Jewelers, and the recently completed Uptown & Main on Veterans Boulevard.
The firm has been expanding to the Twin Cities area with mixed-use and multi-family buildings now under construction in Maple Grove, Shakopee and Savage.
The firm also has built in Grand Forks, Sioux Falls, S.D., and elsewhere in the region.
