Thunder Coffee will host a grand opening at its new West Fargo location, 300 Sheyenne St, Suite 190, Tuesday, Oct. 8.
The grand opening will be held 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. and include door prizes all day long as well as a performance by the JT Kennelly Band from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Blackbird wood-fired pizza will be served 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and food from Suna's Egyptian Eatery will be available 4-9 p.m.
Thunder Coffee owners Skyler Dutton a former West Fargo police officer, his wife Nicole Steen-Dutton and brother, Dex Dutton are the first to open a cafe in the new Pioneer place.
Thunder Coffee's trio operated a shop in north Fargo before going to a fully-mobile business in 2017. It does pop-up shops, delivers and caters coffee and plans to be a family-friendly destination for downtown West Fargo with community involvement and regular free events.
The coffee shop is a roughly 1,750-square-foot space and joins Pioneer Place joins tenants such as D.A. Davidson, Zone Nutrition and Grateful Cratefulls.
Thunder Coffee will be open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Mondays through Fridays and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays.
