Health Hint of the Week: A resting heart rate or pulse is the number of times your heart beats per minute while resting. A lower pulse is usually a sign of greater heart

fitness. For most people, a resting heart rate between 60 and 100

beats per minute is considered normal, but stress, hormones and

medication can affect your rate.
