The West Fargo Police Department will hosts its annual Night to Unite from 5 – 8 p.m. Tuesday, August 6, in Elmwood Park in West Fargo.

Each year, this event brings together of members of the community to socialize and have fun while learning about the many public safety agencies in the metro.

"This year we will have nearly 60 different booths for attendees to explore," said Sari Supler quartermaster and evidence technician for the West Fargo Police Department. "There's sure to be something for everyone."

This year’s lineup for demonstrations includes the West Fargo Police Department, the K-9 unit, SWAT team, bomb squad, the West Fargo Fire Department and more.

Other activities like a live DJ, activities, meet and greets with police and more will be available for children and their families free of charge. There will also be a variety of local food trucks available.

”Night to Unite is a yearly opportunity to come together, have fun and build relationships community-wide,” said Police Chief Heith Janke said in a release. “We are excited to carry on this tradition again this year.”
